Introduction
The Fleet Management page provides all users with a centralized and customizable view of the Wavelets and Sites they have access to within the FAI system. Designed for operational efficiency and system-wide visibility, this tool empowers users to monitor device health, access detailed site information, perform bulk actions, and export structured data for offline analysis.
With flexible layout options, powerful filtering capabilities, and a comprehensive Actions menu, Fleet Management simplifies daily oversight, troubleshooting, and administrative tasks—making it easier than ever to manage your deployed infrastructure at scale.
How to Access
Navigate to the Fleet Management page by going to:
(Menu) Data > Devices > Fleet Management
What You See
The Fleet Management page presents a table that lists all the Sites and their associated Wavelets that you are authorized to view, based on:

Your Account(s)

Your assigned Collection(s) (if applicable)
Accessing the Device Manager
The Fleet Management page serves as a direct entry point to the Device Manager — the central location for viewing and editing settings and information related to a specific Site, its connected Wavelet, and associated data streams.
How to Open the Device Manager

From the Fleet Management table, click the Site Name of any listed record.

This action opens the Device Manager, where you can:

View and edit site details

Manage Wavelet configurations

Review sensor and stream data

Access historical logs and activity

Alternate Access via the FAI Map
You can also open the Device Manager from the FAI Map by:

Selecting a site marker on the map

Clicking the Device Manager button in the site popup

Table Overview
The table includes the following columns by default:

Site Name | The name of the site linked to the device. |
Account | The account to which the site belongs. |
Collection | The Collection under account which the site belongs to. |
Wavelet Serial Number | The unique ID of the Wavelet device. |
Wavelet Firmware Version | The firmware version installed on the device. |
Wavelet Hardware Type | The hardware type/model of the device. |
Wavelet Last Transmission | Timestamp of the device’s last successful communication. |
Wavelet GSM Signal Strength | Measured strength of the last transmitted signal. |
Wavelet Communication Status | Real-time status of connectivity. |
Wavelet Battery Status | Battery health and charge level. |
Wavelet Humidity Status | Internal humidity sensor reading. |
Wavelet Subscription Plan | Plan tier assigned to the device. |
Site ID | Unique identifier of the site. |
Device ID | Internal identifier of the device in the system. |
Cloned From | Indicates if the site or device was cloned from another. |

Page Layout Options
Click the Layout button to choose how you want the Fleet Management page displayed:

Horizontal – Expanded Site Info: View the site list and details side-by-side, prioritizing site information.

Horizontal – Expanded Table View: View the site list and details side-by-side, prioritizing the table view.

Vertical: View the site list above, and selected site details below.
Exporting
Click the Export button to download the currently visible table data (according to filters and layout) into a file for offline use or reporting.
Actions Menu Options
Click the Action button to perform various site and device-level actions.

General | Import Sites | Upload a file to create new Sites in the system. |
General | Import Data From Sites | Pull historical data from selected Sites into the system. |
Device | Device Replacement | Replace a device in the field while maintaining Site continuity. |
Device | Fetch Device Unique Identifiers | Retrieve and display device-specific identifiers (e.g., MAC, IMEI). |
Device | Reset Battery Life | Reset the battery life counter, typically after a battery replacement. |
Device | Restore Configurations | Reapply the most recently saved configuration settings to the device. |
Device | Send Calibration Mode | Put the device into Calibration Mode to aid in sensor calibration. |
Device | Send Reboot | Remotely restart the selected Wavelet(s). |
Device | Send Server Address | Push a new FAI Server address to the device for communication. |
Device | Send Transmission Interval | Update how often the device sends data to the server. |
Device | Update Device Status | Change the operational status of the device (e.g., active, maintenance). |
Device | Update Service Plan | Assign or update the subscription/service plan tied to the device. |
Site | Archive Site and Device | Permanently archive the Site and its associated device(s). |
Site | Export Data From Sites | Download raw or formatted data from the selected Sites. |
Site | Export Sites | Export a list of Sites and metadata for reporting or audit. |
Site | Import Data From Sites | Trigger an on-demand data import for selected Sites. |
Site | Import Sites | Upload a batch of Sites via file. (Same as general option for clarity.) |
Site | Move Site | Transfer a Site to a different Collection or Account. |
